Welcome to Our Rabbit Care Clinic!
We are lucky to have a wonderful group of volunteers who offer a safe and gentle nail trimming clinic exclusively for our local rabbit owners. Our groomer, Anita of Hilltop Flop (bunny boarding), has over 40 years experience in the rabbit community. She not only cares for her own bunnies but is active with rabbit rescue, boarding and basic grooming.
This clinic is hosted at our workshop in Arden, NC. All proceeds from our clinics support community spay/neuter efforts, supply donations to rescues like Asheville Humane Society (AHS) and Brother Wolf Animal Rescue (BWAR), and other vital care initiatives.
We provide nail-trimming and brushing services which also include a complementary scent gland cleaning and general wellness check, where we take a basic look at your rabbit’s overall health. This is an opportunity for us to discuss any concerns you may have including diet, enrichment, bonding, etc. While this check helps catch potential issues early, it is not a substitute for professional veterinary care.
You will receive 5% off storewide for anything purchased on clinic days and we will donate 5% of those proceeds back to the fundraiser!
We look forward to helping you care for your beloved bunny!

Yes, to keep things running smoothly and efficiently for everyone, we require an appointment. Simply fill out this form.
Feel free to shop our small retail area while you wait!
Payment
- Donations are accepted via Venmo or cash paid in person at the appointment
- All proceeds from our clinic are donated to local rabbits in need
Do you offer discounts for multiple rabbits?
This service is a fundraising event and is not for profit. Therefore we do not technically have discounts for multiple rabbits but you are welcome to pay what you can on our sliding scale.
How often should I attend the clinics?
Rabbits nails need to be trimmed every 6-8 weeks so we recommend attending every other month. If your rabbit needs brushing, you can attend as needed!
Where are you located?
We host the grooming clinic at our workshop located at 15 Glenn Willow Drive, Suite 77, Arden, NC.
Does my rabbit need to be vaccinated?
We highly recommend that your rabbit is vaccinated for RHDV2 for their safety and well-being as well as the other rabbits who attend our clinic. At this point it is not a requirement as the virus is not yet reported in our state.
Do you offer home-visits?
We encourage attending one of our monthly clinics as this is a much more efficient way for us to help as many rabbits as possible. However we may be able to help you; please reach out directly to discuss more.
Do not come if...
- your rabbit is sick or injured
- your rabbit has fleas or any other parasites
- you or a family member are sick or have any symptoms
Cancellation Policy
It's perfectly understandable to cancel however, please provide as much notice as possible as a courtesy to our volunteers and for others in the community who may want to reserve a spot.
