What is a CSA?
A CSA (Community Supported Agriculture), is a subscription service that delivers seasonal produce from a local farm to its members. CSAs are a way to support local farmers and feed your rabbit fresh, local food.

- Spring CSA - pre-purchase 12 CSAs; one per week for 12 weeks April-June
- Summer CSA - pre-purchase 12 CSAs; one per week for 12 weeks July-Sept

CSA Pricing
This year we are offering pre-orders for the entire Spring and Summer seasons - purchase either of these and you will receive your FIRST CSA FREE! You can also still purchase weekly individual CSAs if you prefer.

Hay Pricing
Pesticide-free hay is also available from the farm!

What are the CSAs stored in?
Starting in 2025, CSAs will come in biodegradable bags.
What's Included in the CSA?
Each week will be unique and will depend on what is available on the farm at that time. Everything is grown using organic practices (from a Certified Naturally Grown farm), without harmful pesticides! It will generally include:
- 2 main greens (like salad greens and kale)
- 2-3 bundles of herbs (like dill, parsley, comfrey, basil, cilantro, clover, etc.)
- 1-2 specialty items (like apple twigs & blossoms, squash blossoms, blackberry leaves, edible flowers, etc.).
Pick-Up Location
Every Wednesday AM the farm will harvest and deliver to us. You can pick up from the shop Wednesday-Saturday from 9:30am-4:30pm.
We will store the bags in a cooler but the sooner you can pick up the better so that your greens are as fresh as possible.
Ordering
If you are ordering a single CSA, please have your order in no later than Monday at midnight for pick-up on Wednesday. The produce is harvested Wednesday morning so the farm needs orders 24 hours in advance.

Do you ship?
Due to the CSAs being fresh produce and hay being too expensive to ship, we unfortunately do not ship at this time.
How many bunnies will one CSA feed?
This depends on how much you feed your rabbits. Personally, we feed 1-2 cups per rabbit daily. We have four rabbits and we usually get about one week's worth of meals out of one CSA.
Can I order other products from your shop and pick up at the same time?
Absolutely! We will have your entire order ready for you to pick up.
Cancelation Policy
Pre-paid Spring and Summer CSA subscriptions are non-refundable. We apologize for this, but since the farm plants and harvests based on the number of CSA shares purchased, we are unable to issue refunds.
If you are unable to pick up your CSA box due to vacation or other circumstances, we highly encourage you to donate it to a friend in need or offer it to someone in our local Facebook group, Asheville Rabbit Weirdos.
For individual CSA boxes, cancellations are accepted by midnight on the Tuesday before your pick-up. Thank you for your understanding and support! 🌿🐰
