I have a thirteen-year-old elderly bun who was diagnosed with severe calcium sludge in his bladder and both kidneys. Along with a slew of other health issues, including EC, it's been a struggle. I bought this, along with the urinary poppers, about six months ago to see if that could help. Well, I am happy to report, at his last vet appointment, his bladder and kidney sludge was downgraded from severe to mild! And the improvement we've seen in our little boy has been momentous! I put this in his foraging baskets and he happily destroys them for hours in the morning. I can't say for certain that this was what helped him expel a lot of that sludge (he's on weekly fluids and a slew of medication), but it surely didn't hurt! If for nothing else, he enjoys it and it seems to make him happy.
This is Gus every time I sprinkle this forage on her hay. She digs for the tasty pieces. Gus has had chronic bladders issues (stones and sludge) for years and I’m sure having this mixed into her hay is in part what keeps her healthy. A friend in my bunny rescue group suggested trying this.
My bun has struggled with urinary stones in the past, since eating this blend a few times a week, he has had no issues!
I gave my rabbits other big name urinary support products that I thought worked. When my mini Rex got an infection I reached out and purchased this immediately. Rabbits love it and based on other purchases I have no doubt this will keep my buns happy and healthy.
We use this as an additive to the special pellets we give our 3 buns with delicate tummies, and they love it!
