A wonderful, simple treat for your small pet that is naturally rich in dietary fiber, antioxidants, and beta-carotene. The reason we love papaya so much is for the proteolytic qualities of its enzymes - meaning they help breakdown protein, specifically helpful during molting (shedding) season! The fiber of the fruit is helpful in streamlining the digestive tract.

INGREDIENTS: organic dried papaya

FEEDING DIRECTIONS: 1 small bite-sized piece (~1 sq inch) daily per 5 lbs body weight, especially during molting episodes.

SUITABLE FOR: rabbits & guinea pigs. While it may be safe to consume, we recommend seeking advice from a veterinarian or expert before providing this treat to other species.

STORAGE: Reseal bag after use. For maximum freshness transfer to an airtight container and store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Refrigerate to extend shelf life. 

SHELF LIFE: dried fruit will stay viable for 1-3 years if properly stored
