This bed is wonderful. The fact the bed itself is waterproof is huge. My rabbits are obsessed with this, and I will have to buy a second one because they both always want to lie on it!
I have a rabbit whose sole goal in life is to cause as much trouble as bunnyly possible. He’s like if you gave a toddler an energy drink, but with sharp teeth. While he immediately chewed a hole through the cover and continued to make it to his Swiss cheese standards, the bed is intact. Nothing survives him but this has for well over a month now. I am seriously impressed. If you have been on the fence because you have a rabbit of mass destruction, order this bed (and maybe an extra cover).
We recently purchased a Hop n Flop for Rocky, our Lilac Dutch rabbit. At 4 years old, Rocky takes a bit of time to get used to something new, but he was curious about his Hop n Flop since he got it, sniffing at it and trying to chew it, but now he sits in it on his own and particularly enjoys being pet behind his ears while in it. Would recommend this product.
Athena had already rejected a nice bed from chewy.com. I was concerned that she wasn’t going to like this bed. Nope! It has her approval.
The new bed is nice and the Sherpa cover is soft and pretty, but I like the design of the older beds. Online the inside cushion looked like it was covered in plastic, but it is some type of cloth. I got this for my 12 year old rabbit who now pees anywhere the urge hits him. It says it’s waterproof but it looks like it would stain and need more cleaning than a simple paper towel. I also don’t like how the cover fits like a pillow case. I liked the snug fit of the individual cushions that slid in the pockets of the older ones. It’s still a nice bed and very reasonably priced but the older models fit my needs better.

I did want to clarify one point: while the inside cushion may look like your average cloth, it’s actually made with a waterproof material designed to help prevent accidents from soaking through onto your floors. It can be spot cleaned with a towel or placed in the washing machine as needed, which makes upkeep a bit easier.
We also hear you on the differences between the new and older bed designs, and we’ll definitely keep this feedback in mind as we continue to refine our products.
