Very disappointed, its cardboard. Some pieces are already broken. Great idea way too flimsy for the price...and why was shipping $30? Its like 5 cardboard boxes...kinda shocked.

The product you purchased is intentionally made from heavy-duty cardboard, which is clearly stated in the product description and shown in detail across all of the listing photos. This material choice is very intentional—cardboard is lightweight, safe for rabbits and other small pets, and designed to be chewed and explored, which is why many pets enjoy it so much.
The item also ships completely flat and unassembled, so it would not arrive pre-broken unless damage occurred during assembly. Please feel free to send us photos of the damage you are referring to so we can look into that further. I do not see any damage in your photo attached to this review.
Regarding shipping, bulk, heavy items can unfortunately incur higher shipping costs due to package dimensions and weight. You received the most optimal carrier rate for shipping your product ($23 not $30).
We’ve sold many of these and have not had previous issues regarding sturdiness when assembled as intended, but we understand that cardboard products may not be the right fit for every household or every bunny (or in your case it looks like a cute ferret!).

Cocoa and Nugget love it!! Cocoa is my shy girl so she now has an additional place to seek refuge and she is slowly becoming more affectionate. Crazy Nugget just goes in and out Binkying along the way :)
OMG my rabbit Clover loves his 2 story maze hideout. You never know which hole he's going to pop his out from or shoot out and bounce off the pen walls 3 feet away. He is definitely more social now that he knows he can go in his maze house to chill and get away from everyone when he's had enough!
They love it for reals
My dwarf house bunnies absolutely love their Maze Haven. Mochi is about 3.5 pound Netherland Dwarf and Fern is a 4lb mini Rex. The Maze Haven fits under my bed. Both bunnies love to hide out in it and remodel it. I placed it on a big, flat cutout piece from the cardboard box it came in. It’s built really well with nice, sturdy pieces, and it was relatively easy to put together. It should last a long time.
