At first i was a bit worried because my rabbit wasn’t the most interested in it, but once he got a taste of that hay I don’t think there was anything I could do to stop him from tearing it apart. It lasted a while as getting into it was half the fun for him, but once he opened it he ate up all the hay and used the outer cover as a mat to rip up. Once it restocks I will definitely be buying again
I have the great fortune of owning a rabbit whose sole purpose in life seems to be destruction, yet somehow she still manages to be picky about what kinds of toys she'd like to tear apart as opposed to, say, literally anything else in my house. The hayrito has been an endless source of joy for her (as it has supplied her with many hours of sanctioned chaos) and me (as I no longer have to fear for my baseboards). Great toy for a destructo-bun and a healthy snack to boot.
Our rabbits relish eating and deconstructing these treats. They approach them immediately when offered! One affords them several hours of entertainment.
There’s just something about the 5 way hay that has my bunny obsessed! She seems to really enjoy pulling certain strands out and foraging through it. Keeps her healthy and active at the same time! I’ll need to get a new one soon!
I bought Arlo two of these with 5-Way Hay. He’s pretty much got the first one demolished and keeps going back to it to get the bits of hay he missed. Well worth the price when he enjoys it so much!
