It was such a relief to find something that actually helps my bun. It is not a cure for megacolon by any means, but giving a half tablet to my 2.5 lb bun before dinner has alleviated the soft, misshapen poops for the most part. He loves the tablet like a treat and begs whenever I walk past the drawer they are in. He seems much more comfortable and like his old self before the megacolon symptoms began. This is now a staple in our daily routine. We bought two packs, and I will definitely be repurchasing before we run out. Thank you for giving megacolon bun moms some peace of mind! To make daily medication time special, I mix 1/4 MC Tablet (crushed) with motility R/x as an added treat that I know he loves!
After doing a lot of research, I came across this and thought I’ll give a try. My bunny lily has megacolon. And this has helped so much. I use along with the mega colon. Herbs.
I love that the Well Kept Rabbit makes something specifically designed for megacolon bunnies. My megacolon bun Heath loves them, they don't cause any g.i. upset for him and now he doesn't have to miss out on "cookie" time when the other buns are getting a treat.
We're 2 years into our journey with a megacolon bunny and I don't know where we'd be without these. Our bunny gets one every morning after her meds and it's the perfect reward.
